Why the Name Designed?

We chose “Designed” on purpose, because of its connection to open architecture, its ties to planning and creating, and its meaning of being intentionally made for a specific outcome. We wanted to represent our commitment to making deliberate decisions that are inclusive, and to the benefit of Canadian investment advisors, our partners, advisors, portfolio managers and staff. Our name represents our promise to ensuring that each decision is made with care and measured along the way in the same way that our advisors and portfolio managers design strategies for their clients. When choosing our name, our drafts, ideas,  wealth management. and philosophies culminated into one word, and the choice was clear.
